Job Purpose

Quality Analyst II

Location: Libertyville, IL
Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Salary: $24.00-$30.00 HR

 

We are seeking a skilled Quality Analyst II with strong experience in metrology and inspection techniques to join our quality assurance team. This role requires hands-on use of precision measurement tools and CMMs, as well as the ability to interpret results and ensure product compliance.

 

Principal Accountabilities
  • Perform inspections using precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators, etc.)
  • Independently conduct inspections with minimal supervision.
  • Interpret and apply GD&T to inspection activities.
  • Operate and interpret results from Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
  • Make minor edits to CMM programs as needed.
  • Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAIs) and complete related documentation.
  • Document non-conforming product in accordance with company directives.
  • Summarize quality control data and report results to management.
  • Support a culture of safety and quality excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality or related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of metrology and measurement techniques.
  • Experience with inspection tools and GD&T.
  • Familiarity with AS9102 FAI requirements.
  • CMM programming or editing experience is a plus.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.

  • The hourly range for this position is $24-$30. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
