Job Purpose

Cleanpart USA is looking for a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining plant equipment, industrial facility and own equipment breakdowns and preventative maintenance schedules. 

This position reports directly to the Site Manager and works closely with operations, environmental health and safety and quality control team. 

Principal Accountabilities
  • Proactively maintain equipment and facilities to ensure no impact to production
  • Assign, schedule, add, update, and perform preventative maintenance activities on multiple production tools and miscellaneous troubleshooting and repair of facilities equipment.
  • Coordinate outside contractors as required for facility maintenance and repair.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Forklift and DOT licenses.
  • Manage and assist in troubleshooting equipment breakdowns to keep downtime to a minimum.
  • Perform basic root cause analysis on breakdowns and implement/recommend changes to eliminate/minimize future issues.
  • Assist other engineering staff in design reviews and capital project implementations.
  • Educate and coach technicians to ensure safe work practices, compliance with corporate policies, and following maintenance procedures.
  • Review, implement, and recommend small and large projects to reduce cost, improve equipment efficiency and safety.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education:

  • High school diploma required
  • Associates degree and/or certification preferred

Skills & Experience 

  • Maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility, which includes general facility maintenance,  mechanical repair, basic plumbing and electrical work (high and low voltage) and HVAC systems. 
  • Experience with troubleshooting and basic root cause analysis.
  • Possesses working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, with the ability to identify operational issues, troubleshoot malfunctions, and implement effective solutions. Skilled in using hand and power tools, reading technical manuals and schematics, and ensuring all repairs and maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic with the ability to work independently, identify issues before they come problems, and take initiative to complete tasks. 
  • Possesses working knowledge of electrical systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing systems. Skilled in diagnosing equipment issues, performing routine maintenance, identifying root causes of malfunctions, and implementing effective corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure operational reliability.
  • Experienced in installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining equipment components and system controls. Able to follow technical specifications, perform calibrations and adjustments, and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently according to established standards
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical and non-technical information to team members, supervisors, vendors, and customers. Capable of preparing accurate documentation, maintenance reports, work orders, and safety records while fostering positive working relationships.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, such as email and word processing programs, for documentation, reporting, data entry, communication, scheduling, and record management. Comfortable learning and utilizing maintenance management and other business software systems as needed.

The range for this salary non-exempt position is $72,300 - $90,400. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
